Camp GLOW exercise and yoga (live)

Mark Douple and I led half of this one-hour session on exercise. We got them up, moving, and sweating. Besides allowing the girls to take a break from some of the heavier topics of the day, we wanted the girls to walk away with a few exercises they could do at home to stay healthy and active.

IMG_6627Kicking off our hour with “chairs in the back, desks in the middle. We need space!”

IMG_6634Mark demonstrating the first exercise. This one is a short, easy, fun, and effective activity. A simple wall sit, three times a day, while you brush your teeth. That’s a toothbrush in Mark’s mouth as he demonstrates a regular morning exercise while brushing his teeth.

Yoga

Sam Weiss led yoga for the next half hour as a cool down.
