Okay, we just wrapped up the last few activities of the day and are back at the hotel getting ready for dinner.
The past few hours we did activities related to health and bonding. A KOICA volunteer facilitated a session on basic health and hygiene. The girls filled out forms about their daily health and hygiene routines to get them thinking about good health habits. They then finished the the hour by writing promises to themselves to continue at least two habits when they leave camp.
The girls particularly enjoyed this… stretching and massaging themselves and others to get the blood flowing. If you’ve flown Korean Air, you know this is standard.
Some photos from the “bonding” part of the day. The girls were given different materials–twine and nail polish–and spent an hour making bracelets, necklaces, and painting nails.
The girls starting their own bracelets. They make the bracelets and necklaces by anchoring the twine around a toe and pulling the strands taut to allow for weaving.

Focusing on a longer rope. Maybe a necklace?
…. next up, dinner, games, and sports!
